Configuring Your Application C# and VB

Once you receive your developer token via email, you can configure your shareware starter kit application.

1. Open the Shareware Starter Kit™ solution in Visual Studio
2. Go to the "Client" project and open the "settings.settings" file in the \Shareware Starter KitC#\Client\Properties directory.
3. Edit the value of the DevID property.  It may be easiest to cut and paste your DevToken directly from the confirmation email into this property.
   
    
4. Once you have added your Deveoper Token to the DevID line, close the settings.settings file and open the \Web References directory for the "Client" project.
5. Edit the properties of the "SskWebService" by right-clicking on the web service name and selecting "properties".
6. Change the "Web Reference URL" property to "http://service.sharewarestarterkit.com/sharewareservice.asmx"
   
   
    
7. You have now successfully configured your Client project to work with the Shareware Starter Kit!

Configuring Your Application C++

Once you receive your developer token via email, you can configure your shareware starter kit application.

1. Open the Shareware Starter Kit solution in Visual Studio
2. Go to the "TestApp" project and open the file"SampleApp.cpp"
3. Edit the value of the DevID property.  Replace the placeholder value DevIDTest with the developer token received in the email. It may be easiest to cut and paste your DevToken directly from the confirmation email into this property.


 
4. You have now successfully configured your Client project to work with the Shareware Starter Kit!
5. Press F5 to build and run the sample application. You may view your submitted information in the reports section of http://sharewarestarterkit.com
